Surgical Specialists of Georgia, PC and its subdivisions Vascular Disease Institute, VeinSolutions, and ObesitySolutions is a multi-specialty surgical practice based in Gainesville, GA and recently expanded to Cumming, GA. We provide state of the art vascular, bariatric, and general surgery to the North Georgia community.
Company History
Founding partner Dr. Dan Procter did his vascular surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. His general surgery training was at the University of Kentucky, where he trained with Dr. Ward Griffen, one of the developers of the roux-en-y gastric bypass procedure. Consequently, he specializes in vascular, endovascular, and bariatric surgery. He founded one of the premiere Bariatric Surgery Centers of Excellence in the country along with his partner Dr. Robert Richard. Dr. Charley Procter joined the practice in 2007.
